Scarborough Spa Orchestra - We are delighted to announce the return of the Legendary Scarborough Spa Orchestra.

Celebrating their 110th year - continuing a seaside tradition which dates back to 1912. The Orchestra, will pay eight concerts per week from Sunday to Thursday, all within the magnificent Scarborough Spa Complex.

 

Sunday 11th September

11.00am Morning Concert & 2.00pm Teddy Bears Picnic

11.00am Morning Concert & 7.45pm Evening Concert

Morning concerts will bring a musical start to the day, running from Sundays to Thursdays at 11.00am, when the Orchestra will perform the perfect mix of the very best in light music. 

Expect to hear a variety of tunes including songs from the shows, well-known melodies, waltzes, marches, novelty items - all performed within the elegant Suncourt Enclosure with Scarborough's stunning South Bay as a back drop.

Please Note: If the weather is inclement, the performance will take place inside in The Grand Hall.

Monday’s and Wednesday’s will see the return of the popular evening orchestra concerts. Evening performances are presented in the Grand Concert hall at 7.45pm, with guest vocalists and special themed gala concerts on Wednesday evenings. With a vast repertoire, every programme is different, with rarely a repeated performance.

The Orchestra’s popular Teddy Bears’ Picnics concerts, which introduce youngsters to the magic of music and musical instruments will be taking place every Sunday afternoon at 2pm, also in the Spa Suncourt enclosure, weather permitting.
