How Can I Pay For My Tickets?
You can pay for tickets using any major credit or debit card. If purchasing in person at the Scarborough Spa Box Office you can also pay with cash. Please note that booking fees apply whichever way you choose to book or pay for your tickets.
Why Do I Have To Pay A Booking Fee?
A booking fee is added to the purchase of a ticket to help cover costs at the venue such as our ticketing system, our online system, Box Office staff, training and maintenance.
Does My Child Need A Ticket?
Tickets are required for each child attending a performance if over the age of 18 months. Some performances have age guidance so please call the Scarborough Spa Box Office for details.
We do not advise that children under 16 attend the theatre without a responsible adult and venue staff accept no responsibility for any unaccompanied children under 18.
What Does Restricted View Mean?
Restricted view seats may have a pillar in front of them or be side facing meaning that you would not see all of the stage. If you are unsure about booking a restricted view seat or need some guidance, then please contact the Scarborough Spa Box Office direct on 01723 376774.
I Have Chosen To Receive My Tickets By Post. When Will I Receive Them?
If you booked direct with the Scarborough Spa Box Office you should receive your tickets in about 5-7 working days. If you don’t receive your tickets please call 01723 376774.
If you booked direct with Ticketmaster your tickets will arrive approximately 72 hours before the performance. Please contact the Ticketmaster Customer Services Team if your tickets do not arrive within this time frame.
I Have Purchased Tickets And Have Chosen To Collect From Box Office. Where And When Do I Collect My Tickets From?
Please collect your tickets in person from the Scarborough Spa Box Office, located within the building foyer, to the right of the main entrance. Your tickets will be ready to collect from 24 hours after purchase to the day of the performance.
Our opening hours do vary, so please check the Spa website before making your journey. On show days the box office will remain open for 30 minutes after the performance has started.
In order to pick up your tickets, you may be required to present: - A valid photo ID, driver's license or passport. - The credit/debit card you used to purchase the tickets. - Your booking reference number.
Can Someone Else Collect The Tickets And/Or Attend The Event Instead Of Me?
Yes, if your tickets are set for box office collection and you are not attending the event personally, please ensure you have informed the Scarborough Spa Box Office of this beforehand and have given us the details of the person who will be collecting the tickets.
I Don't Have My Confirmation Email. What Should I Do?
If you have booked over the phone with the Scarborough Spa Box Office, we do not send email confirmations as standard anymore, but would be happy to send a brief confirmation to you if needed. This must be requested at the time of booking.
If you have booked direct with Ticketmaster online or over the phone, you will be sent a confirmation email for successful bookings. If you haven't received a confirmation email after 10 minutes and need help from Customer Services, please visit https://help.ticketmaster.co.uk/
Can I Exchange Or Refund My Tickets?
No, we do not offer refunds once tickets are purchased, unless a performance is cancelled.
If you are not able to attend an event, you can give your tickets to someone else. Please note if you sell your tickets to someone else or a secondary ticket selling agency your tickets will become invalid and entry refused.
If you believe you are unable to attend an event due to exceptional circumstances, please contact the Box Office.
I’ve Lost/Damaged My Tickets. What Can I Do?

A Show I’m Attending Has Been Postponed. What Should I Do?
It is rare that a show will need to postponed or moved to a different location at Scarborough Spa. All customers will be contacted if this does happen.
If your show has been postponed and you can make the new date, that’s great! Keep hold of your tickets and they will be valid for the new date. If you can’t attend the new date, please contact your point of sale to receive a full refund.
Please note: neither the venue the promoter nor artist/s are liable for any travel expenses or pre-booked accommodation.
Can I Buy A Gift Voucher?
Please note the Scarborough Spa Box Office no longer sells gift vouchers specifically for the venue, however you can purchase Ticketmaster gift cards which can be redeemed on-line for shows at the venue.
*Please be aware these vouchers can ONLY be purchased and redeemed via the Ticketmaster website direct.
Do You Sell Tickets For The Scarborough Open Air Theatre?
We do not have any association with the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and are unable to book tickets for any of their events. Visit the OAT website here.
Can You Help Me Find Accommodation Near The Scarborough Spa?
For information on local accommodation or information about the surrounding area, please call the Tourism Bureau on 01723 383636 or visit www.discoveryorkshirecoast.com All accommodation is accredited and they will be able to provide assistance the abundance of places to stay local to the Scarborough Spa. Their office is open 9.00am – 5.00pm daily.
What are the Access Facilities at Scarborough Spa?
Scarborough Spa has accessible seating areas in both the Grand Hall and in the Spa Theatre. There is also a loop system in both auditoriums. Please let a member of staff know if you wish to use this.
We also have lifts to all floors.
Can I Park My Car at Scarborough Spa?
Yes, there is parking available outside of the venue. Please visit www.scarboroughspa.co.uk/plan-your-visit/parking for more information about parking.
If you are attending an evening show, please be aware all seafront car parks are free after 6pm.
