Scarborough

Scarborough

Scarborough, Britain's first seaside resort, where hospitality has been practised and perfected since the seventeenth century, when the discover of it's Spa waters brought the rich and famous to it's shores.

Set on the dramatic and picturesque Yorkshire coast, the sandy beaches of the North and South Bays are broken by a rocky headland on which stands a reminder of the past - Scarborough's medieval castle.

The resort offers first class attractions and museums and the many festivals provide all year round events.

Scarborough boasts many quality restaurants, each serving a variety of fresh local produce. The restaurants cater for all tastes with everything from a la carte seafood to the more traditional fish and chips, and of course a variety of Italian, Greek, Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine.

The resort provides a great choice of high street shops and boutiques. The all-weather Brunswick Shopping Centre with a department store and thirty-five other retail outlets is located in Scarborough's pedestrianised shopping precinct which, with the surrounding streets, is home to many individual boutiques, specialist shops and inviting cafes and bars.

Whatever you do or wherever you decide to go you will always receive that warm Yorkshire welcome.
